I have system XYZ, can Lucid extend our system? Probably. We prefer and recommend open standards. We are willing to work with proprietary systems, however we may require the people who set that system up, to provide additional information or assistance, particularly if the details of the system are not readily available.

Why dose Lucid Prefer to provide Apple based solutions?
In certain situations X-Grid may provide improved computation with out the need for major upgrades to your existing code base.

Do you offer solutions which do not use Apple as the primary product vendor? - Yes. Apple provides many great products. However, in certain situations using another vendors products will result in a more appropriate solution.
Blade, and Spark servers offer exceptional performance in certain projects therefore we also work with these systems.
Can an Apple server solution integrate with Windows, LINUX, SOLARIS? Absolutely; SAMBA provides strong support for Windows. Because Darwin (an open source UNIX variant) is the foundation of OS X, many UNIX like distributions will integrate with an Apple Server.
Can Lucid solutions support Unicode file names? This is primarily dependent upon your operating system and the file system used to store your files. OS X fully supports Unicode file names. Therefore, synchronization or backups will preserve file names with Unicode encoding provided both file systems supports Unicode.
Does Lucid provide general computer consulting? No, Lucid specializes in information storage and information processing systems. However we may refer you to another organization which belongs to the synergy consortium, if we feel that you would benefit from their expertise.
